i'm a 21-year-old junior at the University of Washington.


i love school (weird, huh?), reading, listening to music, going out with my friends, and most of all, napping. i'm kind of shy at first, but I warm up to people pretty quickly. I'm looking to find cool, cute guys to meet up with, and maybe date (long- or short-term). School consumed my life during my first two years here, and I'd like to have some fun over my next few.


I'm interested in the history of Islam in general and Shiism in particular inside Europe (specifically the Balkans, Anatolia, and the Caucasus; I really like reading about Islamic Spain and Sicily, too, but don't know as much about those places). I'm fascinated by heterodox Shiite movements like the the Alevis, Bektashis, and Ismailis, and am a big fan of linguistics and languages (I'm majoring in Arabic and Turkish, and want to learn Albanian, Bosnian, and Chechen before I kick the bucket.)
