Hey, I'm Kari. Some might call me a tortured poet. The tortured piece doesn't really fit anymore though. I'm living life as I see fit, enjoying each day as it comes. Poetry does make up a huge piece of my life, but certainly not all of it. I enjoy hanging with friends, laughter, rain, the beach, specifically the ocean, and meeting new people.

My friends are everything to me, both old ones and new. You mess with them, you mess with me. Nuff' said.

I've had some pretty hard times in my life, but some amazing ones as well. I'm learning each day more and more that life is what you make of it. You could choose to see the glass half empty, but I'm trying to see the glass half-full. The good may not always seem to outweigh the bad for me, but in all truth, it does.

So, if you leave my page thinking that this is all a bunch of bullshit, feel free. But don't let the door hit you on the way out. I don't want drama in my life, I've had plenty of it. Too much!!!
